well i finally ordered a set of j&m speakers to see if they are as good as they are hyped.have hog tunes now and they are better than factory ones forsure but, i am wondering what the j&m's sound like.also john has said on here that there is a lifetime warrany to the original owner and yet his website says 2 years. we will see if i have any problems cause i do like my music and they will be used alot.i will not hesitate to go back to hog tunes if i am unhappy,pez has been great to deal with and i kind of hate to do this but it is something iwant to know,mike

one of the exceptions to the J&M 2 year warranty is our Harley fairing and rear speaker performance upgrades ,,,,

they are warranteed for as long as youown them ,,,,, no questions asked ,,,, and anyone who has dealt with J&M before will tell youabout our service reputation on everything, even if the warranty runs out ,,,,

yes i will,hopefully i get them by friday since i ordered them first thing this morning(john)?leaving for conesville iowa saturday morning so it will be good test on the open road..

 

I'm getting ready to order some this week. I think JM's speakers for the Road Glide are cool looking and have to be an improvement over what I have now. I just bought the bike, so I don't know what is installed. I do know that the original owner installed the HD amp, so it is running a lot more power, but the speakers that are currently installed suck.

 

You won't be disappointed!

 

I too have HogTunes and am wondering how the J&Ms compare. I'm running a Sony head unit on my '05 Ultra with XM direct and was thinking about adding an amp. But before I do that I wanted to see about other speakers. And yes, for the record; PEZ has been great.

I think you'll be pleased. If not, a call to John or one of his folkswill take care of it. I've known him for years, have watched him "'fess up" when they screwed up an' make it right - which to me is when you REALLY find out about a company. I always tell my customers that we make every effort to do it right the first time, but if we screw up they'll REALLY see what we're made of.

 

I bought a 2 sets of Hog tunes a couple of months ago with a amp for my Road glide and they are ok, but with the rave reveiws they received on the forum I really expected more. No doubt that there better than stock and Pez gives great customer service but the speaker sound to me is just ok

 

I also am awaiting your opinion on these...I am very intrigued by the placement of the tweeter on the grills...
