Could i go 2 inches??
Dave
Dave, you may be able to adjust your current bars that much, to get comfortable. Well worth trying, as it will cost nothing, just a little time It took me a few attempts with my own bike, but then bingo - they have been perfect since!

I have rolled the bars forward as far as they can go and still barley clear my knees on a slow turn
Used all stock wiring on 10" bars. Went to 12" yaffe MB and had to extend the wiring. Used the NAMZ kit. So 10" for me was the max on the factory wiring. Sorry, I see you have a ultra, mine is a street glide. Not sure on ultra.
Friendly suggestion - buy the most comfortable bars and the cables that are required.
Dont sacrifice long term comfort for a few dollars. Besides, new cables will look much better than the stock garden hoses.
I agree 100 % , Problem is anything i have to do is mail , closet Dealer is a 5 hr trip , I do all my on work so have to do a lot of homework before i order parts
