I had regular mirrors on the Goldwing I road for 26 years. In all that time I had add on 1" spot mirrors. I'd have to really LOOK to use the spots. I bought this Harley 2 weeks ago (put on a thousand miles in that time) and I really like these mirrors that came with the bike. One quick look and I get a picture of both close and far. Thanks to the PO for this opinion.
