Which shock for 2016 Limited- 944 ultra touring 13" 944-4020UT, Harley premium adjustable 13" 54000008, or Ohlins S36E? Got it narrowed down to these three, but also was eyeing suspension technologies F-Tech 130BB. 80% solo ride, but bought this bike more for two up and luggage. I'm 200 pounds, she is 125. $600 is rough target. Let me hear your thoughts, thanks.
I think your going to get too many opinions and its going to leave you still wondering which one. Get the one that's in your budget, I am running 944's ultra lows and I like em, but I don't mind a firmer ride with a bit more performance vs a cushy ride.

I've owned my Ohlins for several years now and will make a simple observation, having owned my Glide for 25 years. When solo the ride is fine with all the shocks I have tried, although some are a little better than others. Add the most important person in your world and things change! Mrs RK gets a different riding experience back there, compared with you up front, and she will appreciate you buying nothing less than shocks worthy of her comfort.
The choice is easy, buy Ohlins! It's the only way to travel. Mrs RK will love ya for it - expect her to spend more time on the bike with you......
How about the legends I've heard a lot of good stories about them. I'm thinking of putting a set on my bike. A friend just put progressives on his and is already complaining about the banging and the front she'll sliding out in some turns.

I am sure Scott will chime in. Pro action would get my vote over the legends.

Always go for a rebuildable custom built shock that can be reworked if you are dissatisfied with the ride quality. Of the three listed, only Ohlins meets that criteria. Not what Im runnin, but thats not what youre asking
