Many retailers like Dennis Kirk allow returns as long as it doesn't show signs of use. Worse case your out the $20 to ship it back. Look at the Danny Gray tourist seat in leather. Costs about $450 and the leather version has tailbone and prostate relief.

seat tongue loose
Have others had this same problem- I ride a sportster and have the original HD seat. The tongue seems to move side to side -even when tightend at the back. It once back up so far the tongue came right out- Im at the "blue loktite' point any suggestions

MCC fo sho, do it quick though, everyone send theirs in during winter and there is like a 3 week wait or more. Your dealer may have a spare takeoff seat you can borrow until it comes back. They did 2 seats for me. recommended by a bro. top notch
I just posted this in another thread..... i went through 6 seats in 3 months and was not happy with any one of them. I had 2 stock seats to a tall boy then a worked saddleman seat, danny grey, and all were bought from a picture online or sent out hundreds miles away to be reworked. Unless you can sit on the seat in person dont mess with it. I finally found a new store front about 90 min away that stocked a ton of seats. He was nice enough to let me gently place them on my bike and get a feel for each one. I ended up going with a drag specialties seat , and this was the last company i would of thought to get a seat from. I liked the new seat so much i actually left my DG seat there. My new solo has a removable backrest and i got the wider passenger pillion on order for wife. I rode my bike for 3hrs straight yesterday with the new seat and was so comfortable. Usually within an hour my *** would already start to get numb and achy. I didn't need gas i would of kept going and going.
