18" apes on a roadglide?

i cant decide between 16" and 18" and need to purchase this week or next.

 

I have seen 18" apes on a RG and I didn't like them, but that's just my opinion and I probably wont be borrowing your bike too much

To me apes should not be on a bike with a fairing.

 

anyone else seen it?

I also have 12" apes right now, but I have to reach down to grab them, so I am in need of 16"-18",
just need to see an example of the 18" to see or sit on...

 

18"s here, but no fairing.

 

ive never even seen a fairing bike with apes, I might be one of the only in my city once i get them raised.

IMO: Almost any bike looks better with apes. See a few Road Glides in Northern MA - Southern NH running 16" and they look slick. Only seen one with what looked like 18" apes...it didn't look right to me. Seemed like too much distance between the fairing and the grips...
