Default severe vibration

I've got an 07 Ultra with 8K on it. I was at Bike week with my wife on the back last week and when I let the clutch out to take off from a stop. I guess I didn't have enough revs because it started banging around like the engine came loose. I revved it up and it took off fine. Now it does it regularly if I don't have the revs up at startup. Does this sound like a bad motor mount? We did pick up a tank of bad gas while we were there and I thought it might have contributed to it. I had a new rear tire installed at the dealer when I returned and he test drove it and said it was just pinging. What do you think? It never did it before that incident. All I use is high test.

hard to say. i have gotten bad gas from the stations in my area before (i live in FL). When it gets wet the condensation will collect in the underground tank and be pumped into your bike when the storage tank gets low. with water in the gas, it'll run but buck and knock at low rpms. As you go faster it generally seems to be better, although it's not really.

you know, i had a bunch of things happen like that. almost wrecked the bike after leaving a gas pump. started it up, started going then it died. all i could do to keep it from dumping me. have you had the recall download done? after i did a re-map on the ECU with my SERT, haven't had anything like this happen ever again.

And if you did pick up bad gas maybe it had water in it, the fuel filter likes to hold onto the water. Get yourself some good dry gas (Isopropyl) and see if it helps.

It seems to be running ok. It's got Bassani true dual megaphones, SE air kit, Power Commander and has been dyno tuned by the dealer. The power curve looks great, nice and smooth. This is like low end pinging or knocking. The bike really shakes badly and I have to get right on the clutch and raise the revs. It really is like the engine is banging around under me. It's loud too. The guys with me asked what the noise was.
