Hello well I purchased a set of rush 2.0 along with the air and pc111... didnt reallly get the sound I was hoping for.. couple of questions here for you all running 2.5... I spoke to the people at rush (adam) he told me not to go any higher than a 2.25 with the 07's said there will not be enough back pressure as well as other things.. so anyone running 2.5's having problems with decel popping which is what he said I would get a lot of...He also put me in touch with a good dyno who does all of the work for them... spoke to him and he stated the same he said if I go any bigger than 2.25 I would lose a lot and he said a lot of torque.. he said he would not do it and always trys to talk people out of it because he can not get the torque up enough... does this make sense to anyone..,. didnt mean he wouldnt do it just he wouldnt do it if it was his....also does anyone know what the difference in sound is between the 2.0- 2.25/ and 2.5

I have the 1.75's and can't understand why anyone would want them louder. Torque is excellent, and this is the baffle size recommended by Fuel Moto. I haven't heard a side-by-side comparison between different baffle sizes, so I can't comment on that, but the 1.75's are plenty loud for a touring bike if you want to hear the stereo. I get no decel popping, hestitation, or other maladies with this setup.
Everybody has their own opinion & mine is to go with the 2". I had the 2.5" & had terrible numbers after dyno & way too much decel popping. IMHO the 2" sound better & make the bike perform atits best level. You honestly don't lose that much in regards to loudness with the 2". I have very little if any decel popping.
I had the 2' and bumped it up to the 2.25' a couple months ago. Sounds a littlelouder but would still like to pump up the volume a few more decibels. Was also told to stay away from the 2.50' baffles. Haven't had it dyno'd yet so can't help you there. Get the 2.25' and try them. Only cost $50. Pretty easy to switch the baffles...even I can do it...lol...lol... Could always sell them if you decide to switch.
I cant find the 2.25 any cheaper than 69 bucks.. seems like a lot for only a marginal sound increase.. I was also told to stay away from the 2.5 which is why I asked the question...with losing the torque...dont want that.. but they, that is adam from rush, said that performance wise 2.0 was the limit before you start to lose...he also said that they will not get any louder really with time the way the baffle is designed... the fiberglass matt is like a 1200 or something heat rated and that it will not burn off like others will.. he did say I can remove the matt which will give me a little more sound but said in his opinion it gives it a hollow sound so not sure if I want to do that only to have to figure out how to get it back on if it does sound too hollow
