OK All I have to say is wow. If your a taller guy on the new Rushmoor bike and feel cramped? Try the new for 14 Police Bike Seat. Installs very quickly so if you have to change back to ride with the better half its not to long of a job. I love it already. I do have to get a new shield though.
I am looking for the thread that talked about this. It would be nice to find a nice pillion or pillion base so I can get a seat made for the back. When she does decide to ride I'd love to use this seat I love it.
How does this seat position the rider compared to stock? I'm using a LePera Maverick Daddy long legs that moves me back about 2" and down at least 1/2". I have always liked the police seat for its comfort on your butt but not sure about the riding position.
I'm not sure on inches but I use to be able to rest my ankles on my highway bars, and now I can just reach comfortably. I'm also at least 2" higher. Love it don't feel cramped up anymore. The pillion seat will be in tomorrow. I had a bunch of points at the dealership and used those to order it. This weekend will be my first long ride with it and without a back rest. I'm a little worried about that. I have a very bad back. I'll post Monday on how it went.

Yes, at least 2 inches higher. In the picture you can see the space between the frame and the seat. There is not much compression from that height. So I would say from stock you are about two inches higher and rearward, if you slide all the way back, about 1 inch.
Kind of like if you were to sit just on the front portion of the stock passenger seat.
With the police seat it is also easy to move all the way forward for those low speed turns.
My 6'1" is much more comfortable. My legs form a nice 90 degree angle in the normal riding position allowing me to place my weight on my posterior instead of my lower back like the stock seat.
