Default Service manual/parts manual??

Does the service manual 99483-xx have the diagrams of each part of the bike broken down with the actual name and numbers of each part? If not, is there a parts manual that has the diagrams? And if so, do you know the number for the "parts manual"? Thanks in advance!

many of use use the online parts manual courtesy of Ronnies HD- you dont have to buy parts from them, but you can

I have Ronnies HD saved in my favorites on my computer for the diagrams. Just looking for a hard copy that I can take out to the garage when working on the bike.

I think HD makes parts manuals, service manuals do not have part numbers on their diagrams.

Check the sticky in General Harley Davidson Chat. It gives you links to several sites with parts manuals. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/gener...6-10-03-a.html

I don't know when they started the parts manuals, I didn't have one for my '89 Heritage.

For my '03 Heritage, I have both the parts and service manual. For my '12 Limited I have the parts, service, and electrical manual. I buy only the Harley Davidson manuals.... don't care much for the aftermarket manuals...

I use the parts manuals all the time..... I'm a visual person, even with the service manual, I can understand directions better after looking at the exploded diagrams in the parts manual....!

I recently sold a bunch of 20's and 30's parts books ( as they were called then) from both Harley and Indian- so as long as they've making bikes, we've had to fix them.

the beauty of ronnies is that you can look up many models and either carry the ipad/ laptop to the garage of hit print and take the page with you

I'm exactly the same way. I've used the online manuals many times, just want to have a paper copy for the garage. Did you order your parts manual from Harley? Does it have a "parts number"? Thanks

Yes, you can order the various service literature from a Harley Dealer. For the parts numbers of the service literature, check your owners manual. Look for service literature under the maintenance scheduling section.
