With those of you that went with a Bad Dad rear fender, which model did you go with (Summit or Bagger w/fender eliminator)? I like the fact that the Bagger fender covers the frame rails (I have a 2008 and want to get rid of the "hoop") but it seems from what I've read on their website there is potentially less issues in fitting everything together with the Summit fender.
Anyone with an 08 or later feel free to post some pics
You will need the right brackets and the hoop end covers.(if you go summit fender)
mine is an 02...almost the same. you will need the right parts for your year. the hoop end covers are metal klockwerks.
Summit fender all in one light kit. (not sure of the difference between 08 and 02)
I went with the summit all in one fender for my 04, no pics but looked just like mrmud. You have to buy the brackets to eliminate the hoop. Great product and great people to deal with, I talk to them on the phone 4 different times before I ordered.
Well I pulled the trigger on a Summit package from them. You were right, they were super easy to deal. Not pushy at all, I hate it when someone tries to force a sale on you.
I just got my baddad competition rear yesterday. It went on easy with very little adjustment needed. I paint professionally and as for as prep work for painting. All that was needed was a good block sanding and they were ready to seal.
