Default Question about load equalizers

Doing the custom dynamics front and rear LED signals on a 2011 flhx. I know I will need a load equalizer. Question is, will I need it at the same time of install of the lights? Are there any other issues besides a fast blink it may cause not having one installed?

Without one, yes, you will have fast blinking. Is that an issue? You bet. call Custom Dynamics. They will walk you through what you need. Good customer service.

I'm getting the lights local and the equalizer will have to be online. Wouldn't be for more than a week or so without.

I have a '13 FLHX and did the same thing. Got the lights first then added the equalizer a week or 2 later. The fast blinking annoyed me.

Just bought the lights and the equalizer at the same time at my local dealer. The EQ was about $70.

Custom Dynamics is fast delivery and my HD dealer sells their stuff at cost plus tax. Unstall it before you change the lights.

I went with the Biketronics EQ, simple plug and play.
Great customer service, built to military specs.

I bought a kuryakan Stop/run/ flash setup with a load equalizer. I like the flashing tail lights and plan to do LED in the future. This way I did not mess with anything or have to cut up the harness.
