Default Windshield Fit

Well finally got my painted parts back and reassembled the front of the bike.
The problem with my windshield was not from the wind moving the shield around but with it not conforming to the shape of the fairing. No matter how I tried to install it, there was about an 1/8" gap at the bottom.
Installed it with an auto windshield adhesive strip, looks and feels like black putty. Just lined the center part of the gasket with the strip, and placed the w/s on the adhesive then installed the screws. I checked it yesterday and it is water tight and seals the base of the shield really well.
