Security System is not accessible
2009 Ultra Classic. Smart security with hands free fob and the security siren. I cannot access the security system to disarm it. I changed the handlebars from stock to HD mini-apes. Already checked all the handlebar wiring for any pinched wiring with a multi meter and all the wiring between the handlebar switches and the fairing harness checked out. When I replaced the main fuse, the siren chirped once but now does not come on at all. The system light was on steady, I turned the key switch to ignition and the security light flashed a couple times and then went back to steady on. The lights all come on, the radio and horn works. The fuel pump does not prime. The turn signals are inoperative as is the brake lights. The run/off switch is in the run position. Checked all the fuses. Checked the TSM for loose connections. Replaced the battery in the fob and also in the siren. I checked all the plug connections in the fairing. I cleaned the contacts in the fob for the battery. The the fob battery is at 2.97v. I have read all the threads regarding re-setting the PIN number. I have tried all the combinations for accessing the security system. It refuses to let me in. HELP!!!!
Where is the fob in relation to the bike. It sounds like the brain isn't recognizing the fob. Set the fob on the seat. Make sure your cell phone is 20' from the bike. When you inserted the replacement battery in the fob you removed the sticky protector off the back and inserted it correctly.
not calling you dumb. I've done all of the above. .

you may have another problem. the fact that your fuel pump does not prime leads you to look somewhere else. the security system will not stop your fuel pump from priming, only locks out the starting system.
even the manual specifies that the ignition and starter are locked out, nothing about the fuel pump.
