Induction module seals again!!!!
I posted before that I had a stumble with my 06 ultra since new, At 5,000 miles they found an intake leak. They replaced the seals. Well took bike in for for SERT and dino run. GUESS WHAT!!! Seals bad again. They replaced them under warranty and Had my SERT installed and dinoed. 68.1 hp/72.74 tq @89F/29.18 in-Hg. AF is 14 at idle and 13 after 2500. The real surprise was the price of installing and tune of my SERT. $65.00 for 1hr.labor and $3.00 tax. Thats it. Mann,s HD Columbus,IN Dan
On top of page it says Run file-1072drf and cf:std smoothing:3 Whatever that means. HP is almost a straight line from 2200 to 5000. TQ is 61/2200 to 73/5000 Dont have a scanner to show the printout. Dan
it took em 30 secs to load a canned map on your bike...probly told ya it was dyno tuned cause they ran it on the machine and gave you a print out...if it runs good and youre happy, ok....ya done good
mine took over 3 hours to tune got 63 hp and 64 tq
with the sert and a/c and sampson slip ons.
Tuner had to reseal my intake too.
about 10 points lower than what should reasonably be expected here.
But it's going in for a stock base run Saturday and a sert tune of the S/E a/c
right after the base run.
Then ride it for a couple weeks to see how it acts.
Course this depends on the crazy weather we have had the past two days.
Up to 88 mph winds and snow came in this afternoon (not much but snow nonetheless).

choochoo, I had the SERT put on it to richen it up, It was off the scale on a/f ratio. I was still having stumbling at takeoff around a corner. Canned map or whatever, the result is to check your work and make sure it falls within acceptable parameters. Now Mine does not stumble at low end or accelerating, on the dino or street. I could really hear it bad when they were running it. It would hesitate for almost a second before it took the throttle. I,m trying to get by with it till the new ones come out. I,m over this one. dgriffith...I asked where you were doing the dyno at in one of your other threads. I see you answer it here. Anyways, they did mine too. Had 700 miles on it. Canned map that he loaded and ran on mine, was still lean and not great. he adjusted my map while I watched and reran it. Much better but had a lean spike in it still. I think it was like 6-7 hp he picked up from thecanned map just by playing with it. Adjusted some more and got the spike out..Ended up with 77.5 and 82 torque. Too me it still looks lean in spots too, but what do I know? On a side note, ironically I just went in to Manns a couple days ago and inquired about mine "coughing" occasionally like at start up etc. Brian in service sprayed the intake and said I was developing a intake leak as well, although not real bad yet, but leaking. Mine goes in Wednesday for him to fix them. Got 3200 miles on mine...crazy huh? By the way, for those watching the thread, the dyno on mine is at http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u.../06SG_Dyno.jpg

By the way dgriffith...do you have the 25 degree injectors? I went through this on a heritage in late 06...Some came with 8 degree injectors and then in mid production went to a 25 degree injector for the same issues...stumbling etc. there was a bulletin on it. They swapped my injectors in my 06 Heritage for free and it made a world of difference. My StreetGlide has the 25 degree ones, I looked when I bought it.. If you look at yours and they are 8 degree ones, you maywant to look into getting the newer 25 degree ones put in...
