So I have a weird vibration that is only felt when the motorcycle is riding perfectly upright. If I lean a little to the right or to the left to change my path or if I'm making a turn to either the right or the left, the vibration disappears.
Have checked front end for any play, front wheel and rotor for any signs of a warp, the caliper is centered on the rotor. Everything checks out good.
Have also checked the rear wheel to make sure it is aligned and everything is tight and straight.
Anyone else have an issue like this or know of someone that has a similar issue?
Not a clue really but my first thought was wheel bearings.
If I were you I'd double check the front wheel bearings for signs of grease leakage and seal failure, leading to catastrophic bearing failure! My 09 Road King front wheel bearings had a catastrophic failure (about 10,000 miles), luckily at low speed and by my house. NO WARNING - ONE SIDE JUST EXPLODED! These 25mm bearings are notorious for failure. Since starting to use them in 2008 HD has superseded them twice with newer improved versions!
I was thinking bearings as well but I would think the vibration would be worse in a turn than upright. Will pull the wheels and check.
I check my air pressure before every ride and front is 38/39 and rear is 40.
Rear does not look cupped. Still good thread left and the front tire is only 6 months old with less than 1000 miles on it. New from Harley and installed by them. I didn't have my tire changer back then.
Bike is kept on a jack so no flat spots which would be something different than vibration anyways.

I'll check the bearings. The fronts are only 6 months old with less than 1000 miles on them. They were installed when the new tire was installed. I'll post my findings.
