Try the free app "Ampere" on your phone, plug it in, and see. Compare with known good chargers and cables. Note that some cables "Choke" it down, with this app you can compare cables, weed out the culls.

Take the cable and phone and go plug it into something else, like your computer.
If it charges, the cable is good so the problem is on the bike.
If it doesn't charge, the cable is probably bad.
Android USB charging isn't demanding and almost any cable will do. Iphone charging on the other hand requires a tuned cable, and many of the cheap knock-offs don't work well.

Hey all, thanks for the replies. It ended up there isn't enough power to charge my battery case but the phone itself charges fine.
By the way, I'm a new Harley owner with 2017 Limited. Wish I would have done this years ago!! And, what does TROLL mean?
