I'm having the same problem. It see's the iPhone, skips tracks, just NO SOUND. I see the pause button on the screen as it's paused. Works fine in bluetooth mode, just not plugged into usb port. Did you have to do something to get it to work? I have an iPhone 7 plus and I am using on 15 CVO Street w/117 motor

I had a couple of questions on the iOS 11 and when I stopped in the at&t store they said that the 11.01 was just released to address a few bugs so I downloaded it.... all is good
Thank you for your reply. I did update yesterday and still not working when plugged in,only Bluetooth works. I did HD update also, but still no sound. Hopefully HD or Apple has an update that will solve this issue. Until then, I’m using Bluetooth...
That's a golden rule for any IT department. With Apple, there is always a x.01 release shortly after a new release.
Yep. My company typically sends out a warning. This time they didn't, so I went ahead and updated to 11 ( a couple weeks ago out whenever it was that it hit). Then got the 11.01 update a few days ago. All still well.
What shows in my inbox yesterday? IT department's strong recommendation not to update to 11.
Did HD update but didn’t do a shutdown of the phone today. I figured let me try a shutdown since I did HD update and it worked. I can use both the Bluetooth and plugged in player. Thanks to this thread I got it working. Mahalo Everyone I don’t have to revert iPhone back to previous version.
Not using Bluetooth. iPod is connected direct in the fairing compartment. Solved the problem by going through the painful process of reverting to iOS 10.3.3. Hopefully Harley will update boom box firmware to work with iOS 11 but I’m not holding my breath.
Running 11.0.1 and no issues.
How in the heck did you go backwards? I didn't think Apple allowed that.
Loading 11.0.2 on my 6+ as I type on my iPad. We'll see what happens I guess. Had already loaded 11.0.0 to get Office update . . . as usual, shoulda waited!
