My iPod updated to IOS 11 and no longer works with Harley BoomBox. BoomBox seems to see the iPod but will not play. Anyone else experiencing a similar problem?
Not using Bluetooth. iPod is connected direct in the fairing compartment. Solved the problem by going through the painful process of reverting to iOS 10.3.3. Hopefully Harley will update boom box firmware to work with iOS 11 but I’m not holding my breath.

That's basic functionality. I would assume the problem is with iOS 11, and not H-D.

Are you playing Itunes r using it to stream a service like Pandora? If using itunes, what I did was to get a usb thumb drive, put all my music on that, and it just stays plugged in all the time. Works like a charm, too - unlike my subaru where I had to dedicate an ipod to it in order to get it to work well

Downloaded IOS 11 Tuesday then went out to the bike. Have it hooked up through the USB connection so BoomBox gets the content as media. When I lit off the bike, BoomBox first went to the radio as if the media wasn't connected. Took a few minutes (<5), then it found the media and played like normal. Haven't had a problem with it since.
