so my 08 street has 3.5 rineharts and true dual headpipes I called big city today and they said to remove the baffles and go with there qb series to get the deep sound and get back some of the low end torque I also have se 204 cams

My general rule of thumb is that you typically LOSE low end torque when you remove baffles in a Harley engine. Others may disagree, and there may be exceptions to the rule.

I doubt that anyone would disagree that noise will increase...but it might not be good noise!

Not on a Harley. I bought a set for a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan. I had V&H long shots on it. I hated the sound too tinny.....
I purchased the Big City and was very satisfied. They had a nice deep rumble and sounded pretty damn good for a Kawi.....

Now when I bought my Road King she had V&H true duals and 2002 V&H mufflers. I hated the sound. I pulled the baffles and could not get her to run right.....sounded baddd...

So I tried some of those Lolipop torque cones from DK customs.....they sounded some what better but the low end torque was amazing.....

Try those first they are pretty cheap, so if you hate them no biggie.

I now have 4 inch Rineharts with the hi flow baffle and the S&S 2-1-2 header and I am completey satisfied. I think the S&S header is the cats meow.....

Just my 2 cents

I've used them, and they work great. When I bought my CVO (previous bike) it had the V&H Big Radius pipes on it, no baffles. Had a lean spot on accel. Bought the Big City Thunder Quiet baffles, and it fixed the issue. Make no mistake...they were NOT quiet. The bike was pretty loud, but sounded really good.

im just trying to get a deeper rumble then I have now with my rineharts and get a bit of low end back to try to get these 204 to shine a bit more

i
and I do hear that the qb series is still loud as hell which is fine with me but they said it should not leave you deaf cruising all day

I use them and am very happy with the performance and sound - filled in lost low end torque with V&H 4" turndowns.

If I decide to go with these baffles will they sound different using my 3.5 rineharts with no baffles in them compared to a 4 inch rinehart?

I've used their baffles on a couple of different bikes and was happy with the results both times. I won't use them any more because I am tired of LOUD bikes.....

YMMV
