Default TTS vs FP3

I just bought a new to me 2011 ultra limited. Equipped with a TTS tune. Bike has the VENTILATOR air intake of VANCE & HINES 2 into 1 PRO PIPE exhaust and ANDREWS 54 cams. My question is how would I convert to the FP3 which doesn't seem as complicated to use as the TTS.It would have to be unmarried from the TTS first then the FP3 could be lnstalled?

Reflash the bikes stock tune with the TTS.

Start over with your fuel Pack 3.

The TTS is an excellent unit... Maybe learn how to use that.

Education is free, TTS only costs time. A new fp3 cost more money. Learn what you got and spend on other stuff.

Since your initial question has been answered, what are the reasons for the switch?
Some questions you should be asking yourself (and let others in on the answers so they can better guide you.)

First question is, did you get the married TTS with the bike?

If you did, was the bike, in its current configuration, dyno tuned with that TTS?

What are your current plans for the bike and a tuner?

You have a awesome Turner now. JMHO, the best one around.

If you want to down grade so you can see it on your cell phone, go for it!!!

You can't get much better than a TTS tuner, this really shouldn't even be a question. You've got one of the best tuners, once you start doing some research and working with it you will realize what gold you have on your hands.

I have an FP3 and I’m very happy with it, but as others have stated, the TTS is an excellent tuner as well. Not sure what you’re looking to gain here as this would seem to be more of a change for change sake.

Well I guess I'm just intimidated by it. I do have the tuner and will buy the cables so i can hook it up to a laptop. Where does someone gain more knowledge on the subject? I've done some internet searches and have found limited information so far. There isn't any instructions with it but there is a software update disk. Will l need to install drivers on the computer?

You can download all of the TTS manuals from their website. Read them carefully, you can also search for a manual called TTS for dummies, it is very helpful. By using the flight recorder and v-tune software you can get real close to a dyno tune. TTS also has pre-made maps, find one that is close to what you have installed on your bike, flash it to the bike and enjoy. https://app.box.com/s/s6kx0hlg4hhgec5o8yq6fh5qkcud6lqs this is the web address to TTs for dummies.
