Well since the riding season basically done meant time to spend money! Just ordered a 8.5x18 enclosed trailer to haul the 3 street glides where ever we want now. Planning a trip down to Myrtle Beach Bike week next year and needed to haul them. Was thinking the 18 would be long enough plus it was only 200 more than the 16. What are your guys thoughts in how many bikes this would fit. I would think 4 bikes with ease.
4 bikes sound about right. I had 2 in a 6 x 12. Until recently,I have always rode my bike and have trailered it very little. We now have a toy hauler and have used it some locally when camping and taking the bike with us.
Trailer is a gator tail.. I ordered it from the factory in ga I went to pick it up.
In that picture the bagger is tied down from the engine guard & frame. Since then I bought the mounts that attach to the fork area they stay on the bike.
I bought a basic trailer & built everything. I still need to paint the inside.. I also have a small trailer for a single bike.
