Default VHT flameproof paint
Anyone have experience using this to paint heat shields and mufflers?

I just painted the pipes last week so far so good, I did follow the cure process so I hope they last.

I used it to paint my heat shields and mufflers on my wide glide a few years ago it’s held up good so far,it’s all in the prep you tube the procedure and you will be fineVHT flameproof paint-8e3359ad-b354-4523-b891-4252dc1e43a9.jpeg they are dirty in this pic but the paint has held up better than I expected

The matte black matches my Bassani black exactly.

I used it on the pipes and muffler on my '64 Servi-car. Follow the prep and cure procedures and it holds up good.

I used it on the headers of my VROD. No heat shields on that bike. Went through the on bike cure process of letting it get hot and cooling off in cycles. Held up great for the 2-3 years of owning the bike.
