They seem like a sweet cover and only a little more expensive than the HD ones. I like how the bike is fully covered top to bottom and fully ventilated. Any thoughts on these?
Well, i bought 2 of them for my RK and SGS ...they are bith in FL under an open awning. There's a bit of getting used to parking the bikes, they have to be within a certain spot or it will be a bitch to zip up......i wish thay would sell only the top portion for everydya use, but it's nice that the whole thing zips-up close. It's nice that it keeps prying people from knowing what kind of bikes are under there...and I like them for when i leave the house for a few days....
Waterproof and ventilated don't exactly go together. I'm a little skeptical of their ventilation claims, especially as I can't find a picture of these filtered vents with tremendous flow they brag about. Without fans there isn't going to be air flow worth a shucks anyhow.
Personally, I'd rather have a truly sealed bag to store my bike in. You can add desicant to keep it dry if you wish, though I haven't found that to be necessary. Parking the vehicle in a sealed bag doesn't create the moisture issues that letting humid air in and out will. That would be the likes of motojacket.
Zip up bags are demanding about how you position your bike or car on them in order to zip it up and make it fit. Outside in the wind they can flap and scrape up paint nicely.
