Just bought my first HD (06 Ultra) yesterday and wondered if I could get some info. I have a very petite 4' 11" wife and she can not reach the floorboards while riding. Makes for an uncomfortable ride and ya'll know what they say "when mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy". Anyhow does someone know of a place to get riser brackets to bring the passanger boards up about 3 or 4 inches? I checked out Kuryakyn and the adjustables may work but not quite what I had in mind. Thanks for any input.
My wife is 5' and the Saddlebag Bars on the RK hit her in the back of the leg and she wouldn't take a longer ride... I changed the bars to the newer style RG's (no rail) and installed Kuryakyn's adjustable pegs also (mounts to the rear of your pass. floorboard... She was happy then as not only the bar wasn't hitting her wrong but she had different places for her feet...
I transfered the Kuryakyn's over to the new RG.. Which kept peace in the family!!!
MY girl is short too. I found the MOCO has a riser that moves the rear boards UP 2-1/2 inches. WOrked great for her, made it easier to get on and off, and more comfy while we were riding. I just looked and didn't find the black risers, but I did find these.
Did you try to adjust the stock boards. My '07 UC has two threaded holes, plus another one at the very top pf the mount (hidden under a plastic plug) that does allow some adjustment.
