I was just offered 10500 trade in on my 2010 limited. 15000 miles. Lots of extras which garner nothing on a trade maybe something on sell out right, but still won't increase blue book value
I had a 07 Ultra, Rush mufflers, Arlen Ness ac, LRS Windshield, LED Headlight and LED passing lamps, Kuryakyn, run/Brake Turn Tailight, I traded in for a 2012 Street Glide, I think the Harley Shop gave me $7500! I had to go up to the same shop last weekend to get a detachable backrest and the hardware also get them to put a radio in and I saw the old 07 and they put a price on it at $10,999.
Thank you all for the replies. When we were discussing this, I told my friend the bottom line value is what a bank will loan on it. He called them yesterday, they told him $8635. He was interested because he knows the owner and how he has maintained the bike. I don't see the owner coming down $4500 and I don't see the buyer paying much over loan value, I wouldn't. I did tell him not to go ride it till he had established a value and was comfortable with it because emotion would take over and he might agree to too much.
