I've had my 07 SG since 2009. Since I've owned it i've installed Custom Dynamics Plasma Rods, Ciro Bag Lights, LED tri bar light, CD antenna hole filler LED's. The bike also has LED directionals and an LED brake light. Recently I've noticed that the directionals and brake light won't flash (front either) or brake light won't illuminate with just the ignition on. Once the bike is running a bit all directionals and brake light work fine. Have I overloaded a circuit or something with all the lights and if so, is there a remedy without removing any of the lights? thanks.
I just started having an issue with my directionals.
I have Custom Dynamics Ringz on both ends. No load equalizer needed as they draw very minimal amps. I've had them on the bike for a few years now. No issues... until a couple of weeks ago. My Security system key light came on and stayed on. Then I noticed that the signals would blink in normal cadence 3x then blink faster (as if there was a "bulb" out). Being that I bought the CD's at my local HD dealer, they replaced them for free. Didn't fix the problem. It was finally determined that I need a new TSCM- $276. The wrenched said that he issue won't hurt the bike so... I have fast blinkers now.
I'm betting you have the same issue. Get it checked out. Good luck!
