Default Front brake light switch
I have a 1993 flhtc when I hit the front brake, my radio turns off and looses power. I need to reset presets and clock. I can't see any wires that may be shorted. Any help I can get would be very much appreciated

Here is a link to the Wiring and Troubleshooting handbook for your model year. I would start with checking the obvious - loose battery cables, loose stereo ground inside fairing.. Go from there.

if you dont see any thing that might be shorting out it might be a bad ground and when the extra load for the light comes into play its not strong enough

I need to reset presets and clock ... Obviously you're losing the continuous hot feed to the radio ... head in that direction ??
