Default Headsets

Hi, I'm new to the forum and have already made some research regarding the subject.
I own a 2018 RGS. Had a Scala Rider bluetooth and tried to pair it with the bike only to find out that i needed the WHIM.
Sold the Scala and started looking for alternatives but the issue is that several people mention the problems with HD bluetooth headsets and WHIM.
Even one dealer mentioned that this was something he would not recommend.
So now i'm trying to find out the alternatives available.
Thought the bike could have the connection for wired headsets but apparently it doesn't.
The main purpose of having the headset is to talk with my fellow riders on the road trips we make, being available to make and receive phone calls and to get the directions from the Boom navugation.
What do you guys belive can be the best solution:
- have the wired setup and purchase a headset (will this work with all i want?)
- install the WHIM and purchase the 20 S EVO or just a plain SENA (no stereo needed - the music sound will be from the bike speakers).
- any other solution?

thanks in advance
PBernardo

I went the cheaper route with the Sena Freewire Module and a Sena 10s.

Does the freewire works in stereo? or do I need to purchase the Sena 20S EVO?
Can it be installed inside the bike or is it only removable?
it's only compatible with Sena headsets?
thanks

Its only removable. It connects with a 7 pin DIN cord and just transfers everything Bluetooth to the headset. (which comes with the unit)
Not sure about the compatibility with non Sena units. When I was using it this morning I think it was in stereo.. too busy watching traffic to notice..
