Extended Controls Question
Shopping for everything I need to install my apes - aside from the obvious, how critical (or how much should I spend) are controls? I’ve seen control sets, clutch throttle and brake lines in the couple hundred range all the way up to over 400 bucks. I’ve got carlini apes and I’m tempted to just dish out the cash for carlini controls - but wanted to check with this group first.

Price can depend on the length you need. When I needed longer cables, I measured the length necessary and had them made by Magnum Shielding. Yes it does matter as you want quality components.

I went with the magnum kit which was about 200 bucks when I installed my 14 inch wild one bars. I used the OE style black kit that only replaces the brake line to the ABS unit. I was happy with the kit. Does your bike have throttle by wire?
