Unless you have screamin' eagle hinges....you should be able to remove the hinge pin.

If you have the key tab, with key number, you can order from Harley. Or the dealer that sold the bike should have the key number on file, they order key, but then you have 2 keys.

 

Hey everyone. I ended up trying the pen trick with no success. Went on to torquing the lid and it popped out. Surprised me how ineffective that lock really is if someone knows what they are doing. I'll be keeping my more valuable items inside the saddlebags from now on.
