Extended Shift Levers in Black FLTRU?
Any of you have a good source for black extended shift levers that will work on my 2016 RGU? I measured and it appears there is ~2" of room to the front inside the lowers. No problem finding chrome...what about black? I've seen some from RSD and PM but you're talking well over $200. If that's what I need to spend, OK, but wanted to toss it out there to y'all in care you've got a source.

I use to be able to get extended shift levers for my 07 RK Custom from www.waltersworkshop.com back then.
I fear he may be out of business, he had 2" extended shift levers that looked like stock OEM, but I can't find his web page.
Harley sells 1" extended shifters in the P&A Book, I put on my 2014, and paid the Harley tax on them. Try a 20% off dealer
like Surdyke, or Boardtracker, Good Luck.

BTW - Walter's is now under "clean cycle" http://www.cleancycle.com/. Looks like whoever owns Clean Cycle either bought Walter's or maybe it's the same people. Not a huge surprise that cleaning products are more profitable than billet...but they certainly aren't too interested in building the "Walter's Workshop" business since it's so tough to find.

A couple things to consider when buying the extended shifter. 1) Is the material hard enough that it won't eventually strip out on the shaft that it mounts on, 2) will it fit behind the lower fairing and still have enough room to get your toe in there to shift.
As mentioned earlier, Softbrake makes a good product. I have the extended shifter and brake pedal on my 16RGU, but they're in chrome.

I had the same search issue when I wanted them on my bikes. I have Cyclesmiths Banana Boards on both so naturally wanted both extended shift levers as well as rear brake lever. I filtered through quite a bit of crap and wish I could remember the phrase I used to find but hopefully this will get you started. BTW, I also wanted and found an extra length shift peg which is really nice. Best of luck!!!
