Thinking about a Ultra, but the ones I see on the road aren't being ridden many miles. Why is that?
I ride between 25-30,000 miles a year. What would be my maintenance cost for that year? Yes, I am a pretty good wrench and can read a service manual! LOL...
How many of you put 25-30,000 a year on your H-D's? Most of the people I see don't put 5,000 miles a year on them. [:@] How many of you do 800 mile days on a regular basis?
Yep, that sounds about right. This winter I'm sure that will shorten a bit for me, but I'll still get 1,000/mo. or so. Only had mine since Aug. though, so who knows.
Some of you guys have alot of time on your side, good for you!
8000 + in 6 months here, my goal is 10,000 before the salt hits the street, then its time for wrench'in.
I have done a 2000 mile weekend, 950 in a day getting home in time for work on monday, and I'll do it again!
Coming from a Sportster I never thought I'd ride more than 250 miles a day, Baggers Rock! [sm=icon_rock.gif]
