Default Different Worlds

I have a twin cam, an evo, a Shovelhead, and a S&S powered rigid chopper, so I visit several different sub forums here.
It's almost comical how most of the categories are people asking and answering technical questions about building/repairing their bikes, and here it's mostly about "what color should I buy".
Not a put down, just an observation how vastly different the groups are.

Wasn't that discussed in the "Start and MC" thread?

Oh but we do discuss important issues as well, like whether or not to install the carbon fiber predator X-2000 black-ops coffee cup holder on the bars. I went with the 2000 and no one is going to f*** with me now. And oh, the colour was Camo.

If it weren't for these forums, how in the world would you know where to put your gas cap while refueling?

Who doesn't come here just to read and share the anguish over life altering choices such as the dilemma of choosing the colour on a new $40K bike. The pain must be excruciating and almost insurmountable...

So true. And every year there's a thread about paint colors for the new 20xx. Many folks in the general forum don't wrench.
