I just bought a used Thunderheader off of a 2012 RG.

This should be a fit for an 09 King right?

Only 2k on the pipe and he’s giving it to me for $500 cash!

Anyone have suggestions for good exhaust gaskets?

Also... Should I bend a couple tabs in the baffles? I was thinking of bending 2 as this was supposed to up Torque a bit and help the torque dip??

Well damn...

After further investigation I discovered that 09’s have 18mm O2’s and 10-16’s have 12mm that are located in a different spot.

The pipe I was going to pick up was from a 2012. Back to shopping again!

wont the slip fit muffler fit on your existing pipe/pipes?

Yes if that’s what I was looking for.

This was about a great deal on a full 2:1 exhaust. I already have a catless. Headpipe and slipon mufflers.

Ya sorry I forgot they changed that year. You could weld in new inserts & plug the others??

You can get 18mm to 12mm adaptors for less than 10 bucks.

Sure but they are not located in the same spot on the pipe.

Its my understanding that this will not work with the ECM??

Also I screwed that up. It would be 12 to 18mm. You would have to weld new bungs on. Still would be cheaper to do though.
