Hey guys. I've searched and while people say with just a exhaust you can run without a tune and be ok. I just got a 2015 Rushmore bike. And to my understanding they put a more free flowing filter on the ho 103. Is it still ok to run a 2 to 1 on these with no tune.

There are two answers to this question:
1. You never have to tune a bike if you don't want to. Will it run as well as it would if you did tune it? No. Will it run crappy if you don't tune it? Maybe.
2. No.

Good advice. I do plan on tuning soon. It's just I dropped alot of cash on a down payment for this bike. But when I traded my road king I pulled the pro pipe and my power vision. I'm just waiting until I have the extra money for the 6 pin cord and tune license for the PV. Really I'm just trying to get by without that God forsaken catalytic converter burning my leg. But I may just deal with it and do the full stage 1 at once.
A 2:1 without a tune? I can say that my bike ran crappy when I switched from a Slip On's to a Full 2:1 system until I got a base tune from FM and ran a few auto tune sessions on it. I only ran mine down the block once before I started dialing in the tune.
