Default fatcat installation

Thinking of installing fatcat 2-1 exhaust, ANBS air cleaner and TMAX autotuner myself. I have the tools. Any tips from someone who has done it? On 1-10 scale of easy to hard, where would you rank the tasks. Any help is appreciated.

If you have tools, patience, and common sense..... it's a piece-of-cake!

dunno about the number scale.

Just simple.

Exactly the same set-up I'm going to do, just looking at the timing of it. The T-Max should be here by Tuesday, originally planned on doing it first, then the other two. On the other hand, going through the procedure of setting it up, then changing it for the other mods sounds more time consuming. Everything I've read seems straight-forward (pipes and AC will be easy), and there's enough people on the board who've done it, if there's a problem we'll both have a resource to ask for help! Go to the Zipper's site and download the manual, Bart suggested highlighting specific points to keep from making errors, a lot of what I'veread as problems from others has been self-inflicted. I've readthe manualthrough once, will go back and highlight it to make sure I don't miss any vital points (fairly **** about stuff like that). I'm pretty stoked to get a shot at it, to tell you the truth. Can't wait to get home and see if it's arrived

The hardest part is running the o2 sensor wires, the front one is a bit too short on the Thundermax for a touring bike.

Other then that, it's very easy to install everything. Make sure to get new exhaust gaskets for the heads, that way you will only have to install the exhaust once.

It's not a bad job. I'd suggest setting up the ThunderMax after installing the other components. If not already done by D&D, you will need to increase the four slots in the muffler (mine were only about 1/2") so the clamp will hold as you'd expect it to. Many posts on here about the clamp not holding.
