I would recommend the HQ-0034G for a bolt-in cam in your 96" motor.
I have them in my 95" build and am very happy with them, great all around power when you need it.
The cams and heads are the weak areas of any motor, put in a performance cam and have the heads cleaned up and milled and you'll have a whole new bike under you.
I am contemplating swapping out the 26g's to the HQ34's like you did.....may swap out the lifters and try the AMS lifters at the same time, the Gatermans are a tad noisy for me and might give the AMS's a shot.
i did the 103 piston kit in m 07 fltri. added the 255 cams and the pc111 and the bike pinged like a mother. Took out the pc111 and the ping went away. addeded a sert. bike also has true ual thunderheaders. 90 hp and 110 tq....bike pulls AWESOME. BUT-cams has way to little duration. makes for harder starts! I would use the crame htc 300 next time!

Why not use the stock HD lifters?
That is what Bean recommends, and I've had no problems with them at all.
I am very very happy with the HQ-0034G cams, must more responsive to my build then the 26G's were. I think with a Thundermax or DTT it could be even better............that's my next addition.
