YA! First ride of 2020! Middle of January in Utah and it's 51f going to 20's and snowing tomorrow. Got in 130 miles...and what a beautiful day...gott'a get'm when you can.
Last ride was the first of November...I puled the cover off and almost forgot how to start'r up...LOL
Just guessing when the next ride will be...
For sure! I've ridden at least once every month. This week I was able to ride to work (22mi) monday, tuesday, and wednesday. Currently snowing and forecast 17ş tonight.
That's the price you pay for living in such a beautiful part of the country. I live on the flatlands of the Texas Gulf Coast and we can ride every day of the year, but there's nothing to see.

Its all subjective. You say theres nothing to see....but I bet you can see for miles and miles.
I live in Upstate NY. Rolling hills and tall green trees. Sure, its beautiful, but you CANT SEE for more than a few hundred yards in any direction. Even our longest stretches of thruways are slightly rolling with hills on each side. I want to live somewhere that I can see from horizon to horizon!
Hey Vernal, I always watch the weather up your way and lately you've been getting the brunt of it. BTW, I'm assuming you live in Vernal...What's funny is, most of the time, Vernal and Cedar are pretty close in temperatures. What's nice in Cedar is, if I can roll 50 miles down the hill to St. George, it's rideable all the way to Mexico!! As a matter of fact, in two weeks, I'm riding with some friends from Hiko Nevada to Death Valley and camp and tour for 5 days. My plan is to ride out of here but if it's shitty, throw my bike on my car trailer and have my wife drop me off down the road where it clears up...going south is easy...going north it's cold all the way to the north pole...LOL.
As for the bike...All I can say is, It's a +10 for me and worth every penny. I did have the transfer issue and Zion HD did the vent immediately, no questions asked. Other than that, absolutely no issue and since April to November I have almost 11k miles. The 117 runs like a raped ape.
