After I sold my Road King about two years ago I tried a Sporty then a Fat Boy but a few days ago I caved in and traded the Fat Boy in on a 2016 Road Glide Special. I think I've found the bike that fits me even though, because of weather, I've only ridden it a couple miles. Already ordered a few parts including some Cobra Neighbor Haters. Good to be back on a touring bike.
I hear ya! Over the years, I've gone from an Electra Glide to a, believe it or not, Sportster, to a Super Glide, to a Road King, back to a Super Glide Custom, to a Heritage Softail, to a Street Glide, to a Low Rider, and finally back to a Street Glide! Always thought I want a "smaller" bike since as I've aged, I don't tour anymore. Yet, I ALWAYS come back to a bagger, they're just the best all around motorcycle for me.
