Default Changes 2005-2006 ??

Just a quick question. I have been looking to pick up a service manual for my 06 and have been combing local buy and sells. I have yet to come across one for 06 touring models , but I just came upon a great deal on one for 05 touring . Were there enough changes to the electra glide between those years that would make it useless to me , or would it still be a good deal ?
TIA Scott

Others may be able to give you a better reply, but the only way to be sure you have the most up-to-date info for your bike is to get the correct book IMHO. There can be quite subtle changes year by year, which you may only discover when you bump into them, if you have a different year book. Your local friendly dealer can supply the correct year. Check the HDF ads, also Ebay, etc, but be aware that some advertisers of secondhand FSMs often ask around the same price as a brand new one.

as far as i know the only diff was some epa changes to the heads for sure (its a better head and will even respond to cams a little better) and posibly slight cam and injector changes.

Thanks for the responses. All I care is that the assembly /disassembly is the same , torque specs etc.
