Default Downsizing a RK windshield

New to the road king, had an electrolyte for a long time. Took the factory windshield off last week. That ditched a lot of heat off the legs. But I miss the wind protection above 50. Thinking of getting a second detachable and cut as much off as possible. Anybody have pictures of something smaller?

Post up how you make out, if you cut down the stock shield or pick up something different. I tried an 11 inch shield from cal sci and did not like it. Not sure if it is because I wear a full face helmet or what. It was the most turbulent ride I've ever experienced. Took it off as soon as I got home.

Don't happen to still have the calsci do you? I'd like to try one but I hate to buy a new one and then hate it.

I'm not dumping $175 into a guess. I was Craigslist searching. I will be patient. If I can find a scratch one and paint it black.......

Against by better judgement I got rid of it. Should have kept it around to just give to someone else to try.

They have cheaper options. Well one anyway.

Windshields and seats are always a guess.

I cut one down and narrowed it. Still like the Road Warrior fairing better for looks though.

I bought the short dark tint one from LRS and its great on hot summer day. Offers a little wind block. Sorry I don't have any pics.
