Ok, I have an 06 Street Glide. I want to change out just the bulb in the headlight. Does anyone know what the wattage is ?
Also will I have to buy a whole ne lamp as well? Harley says I need to or my charging system will or could get damaged?
Help !!!

Here are a couple of threads that should help you out with a better bulb:

As for having to change out your lamp assy. If you just want a better bulb no, get an upgraded H4, say the 65/70 watt Osram, your wiring and charging system will handle that easy. A LOT of people have done this!
Also, I belive you alreadyhave the better charging systemwith your 06. I seem to remember that HD went to a 42 amp (or 40 amp) charging system that year.
