Default As we speak...

Performance and comfort are on the way... With just over 31,000 miles into my 2018 CVO SG I'm ready to make a few additional tweaks. I love this bike, and plan to love it a whole lot more in the very near future.

Performance
Quieter valve-train, bit more "soul", cooler-running engine and some more get-up and go. Here are the few goodies on the install list this week:
  • V&H Power-duals, Torquer 450 mufflers
  • Zipper's Redshift 468 cam
  • Fuel-Moto Quickee Push-rods
  • Hy-Lift Johnson Lifters B-2313SE
  • S&S Cycle Billet Tappet Cuffs
  • New H-D Cam Tensioner
  • Power Vision Tuner
  • Power Vision Target Tune (wide-band sensors)

Comfort
After swapping the stock rear 12" shocks for 13" Pro-Actions, it's time to get serious. I am now moving to a new Legends suspension all around
  • Revo ARC Remote Reservoir, 13" (rear)
  • AXEO FLH (front)
The Pro-Actions made a world of difference the first season (@ 7,600 miles), but lately the ride is downright harsh (again). Hoping for more out of the Legends set-up, including high-expectations for the front-end performance improvement

Work started today. Should be wrapped-up by the weekend, which would be great considering it's looking to be 65 degrees Saturday / Sunday. Then I've 2+ weeks planned down south around Thanksgiving and can't wait to get some miles in on the new ride.

Nope. Harley changed the shaft retention method on the M8.

Did I mention they had my products in their hands when designing the M8?

I just placed an order for my twin cam thru Amazon. Now I need to source some gaskets.

I’ve heard great things about the B-2313SE lifters being quiet. Also expecting the attention going into the rebuild will help ensure proper tolerances.

The patient is currently on the table... Cam chest is open...

Just curious. Have you talked to pro-action about the shocks getting harsh?

I plan to do that once I have then off the bike. I’m hoping I can return them for repair / replacement if warranted. It was my intention to upgrade to the Legends front and rear regardless.
