Default Pullback Bars for Street Glide

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a Street Glide bar that has two more inches of pullback than stock, don't too many options on the internet. Can anyone share information about comfortable pullback bar options?

Thanks in advance!

I went with the Klock Werks Klip Hangers. They offer them in a 10 and 14 inch version. It allows for an adjustable pull back angle at the wrist. I find my 10 inch set up to be really comfortable and just a little higher than stock. My hands remain behind the fairing.

I put these on and like them 2008 UC

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...s-install.html

Several threads on the subject
There are sweepers and then narrow sweepers Krome works The narrow are close to the OEM in width

They have a +2 pull back and a 2+2 which is 2 back and 2 up.

I think you will have to actually sit on bikes with different bars and feel for yourself. Especially with bars what works for someone else will not work for you. And then you have different seats you have to think of.

First I went with Khromewerks narrow 2+2 pullbacks. Compared to stock I felt there was a good pullback but still had terrible shoulder pain. I rode my bike in pain for 3 years. By end of last year I put on Helibars. I haven't done long distance riding with it. But feel like I still need 1 more inch of pullback. With the short amount of riding I have done with Helibars I still get shoulder pain. I haven't adjusted the bars yet. I'll start playing with it as Helibars can be adjusted many ways. The way they are set up now is at max pullback. That means If I try to adjust them I'll lose pullback I'm looking for. Even with max pullback they are set up now I feel I need 1 more inch. Most likely I'm looking at new bars down the road.

I've been doing more research and came across Klock werks. I'll have to figure out actual length of Klockwerks and compare it to Helibars I have. Even if Klockwerks is 1" more long, I think I'll swap it.

Changing bars is expensive. I wonder if Klockwerks has a booth at Sturgis, I may get it done there.

Not sure on the pullback exactly BUT I went with the yaffe monkey bars and love them they are excellent and if you need more pull back when you put them on you can adjust the bar clamp and pull them back a little bit so they come back to you more, I ended up pushing them all the way up against the fairing but could easily pull them back a little bit them reclamp then they will be closer to you

FBI reduced Reach Bars....
I just put these on my SG and absolutely love them. Brings them back three more inches than standard bars in this style.

Wild 1 chubby bagger low.

They are similar to the 2+2 but are 1 1/4 bars.

They are $217.00 on Amazon.

It looks like all you are needing is for the grips to be 2 inches closer to you. Part number 56176-08 has been available at the dealer for 13 years. I put them on my bike in 2013 and they work great. They allow me to lean back against the backrest and still have my hands on the grips.

I ended up putting the HD tallboys on and they made a nice improvement in arm/hand placement over stock. Rolled them back a bit since I was looking for a little reach and a little height. Wanted Kliphangers but they weren't in the budget at that time. May still do those in the future but I am happy for now.
