Hi , anyone out there using Sunpie led lights , I am considering there 7 inch Black Headlight and would like real reviews , Thanks for any feedback I receive.
Installed headlight and passing lamps last spring. Look great and working fine so far.
Depending on the year of your bike ,if you want to use the oem headlamp bucket you’ll have to doctor it because the LED doesn’t fit deep enough.
It comes with its own adapter but I found it didn’t sit right with the chrome bezel .(too much of a gap)
Passing lamps drop right in.
I have one in my CVO Springer, my 07 Road King and my 08 Crossbones and they work great and throw out a lot of light. I did have to modify the rubber gasket from the factory light to keep the Springer lights from rattling as the Sun Pies mounting base isn't the same as the factory HD's.
Installed headlight and driving lights. Pleased with results. Installed 15 months ago with no problems.
Vehicles seem to hold back from pulling in front of you. Sometimes I wonder why the car waited for me to pass.
Can’t beat the price.
Put mine in 2 years ago, and you can tell cages see you for sure. They fit no problem, some have to modify the back of the bucket. Not sure of the black ones though.
Had mine in for 2 seasons and no problems. Really lights up the road. With the headlight on bright and the spots on too its like daytime. Cant beat the price. If they crap out sooner than the HD ones I will buy another. Can buy three or four sets for that price.
I‘ll say what I always say about them. The Sunpie’s are Chinese knockoffs of the Daymakers, using pirated technology and violating propritary design. I don’t know why US Customs doesn’t seize them.
Many threads on this product. Seems to be a pretty good product in most cases, if you don't mind giving the Chinese Communist Party your $$$ for a knockoff product.
OTOH, I sold a kidney and bought a VisionX.
