Default altitude

When I was in Fla. my bike seemed to have a little more power than I have here at home in Ct. Just wondering what the thoughts are about the Dyno tune that was done before going south . The o2 sensors were disconnected by the tuner so I wonder if the 1000 foot elevation difference could be the cause.
I'm using the power commander 1V .
Additional info if relevant:
2010 RK
S&S 106
AN big sucker
V&H power duals
Amer. Custom modified mufflers
Thanks for thoughts .

I would guess that a 1000 ft elevation change could make a difference while running a locked in tune. I'm sure a fuel change as mentioned by jake24lt would also make a difference. The air is pretty thick down in Florida...

A 1000 ft difference in elevation is nothing that the ECM can't easily adjust to and you shouldn't sense any difference in performance. Could be your imagination (or wishful thinking...lol)

With a mean elevation of only 500 feet above sea level, Connecticut is one of the ten lowest states in the Union!

I really doubt that that roughly 3 tenths of a PSI will make any difference. My bet is fuel.

Although non ethanol fuel is readily available in FL, it is about the same price as premium fuel, but is usually 89 or 90 0ctane, not the 91 or 93 that our bikes like.

The only time I put it in my bikes is when I am getting them ready to put away for the summer....

It may be a change in gas type..... ie: octane rating, with or without ethanol, etc.. But I doubt it's about the altitude...

FWIW...... My experience has been that when tuned well at sea level, all my bikes (carbs & Delphi EFI) have had no trouble going from sea level to 10K' altitude..

Numerous times back in the early 80's on a carbed '80 FXS, to an '89 EVO heritage, and in the last five years on a '12 Limited and then '16 Ultra Classic... I have ridden from San Diego (about sea level) to Yosemite via Tiogo Pass (10,000') and none of those bikes skipped a beat...

@hattitude
I know it's VERY subjective, but did you notice any perceived change in performance? Simple drivability stuff, no quarter-mile comparisons or anything.
