Default Bushing

Decided to replace my bushes on the gear lever shaft of a 2012 road king. Does anyone know the part no the dealer gave me 42642-00A but this is different to mine internal sizing is ok external is not. The one the dealer gave me are split and way thinner. The original one is not split and is thicker. Is the bush a standard size that i can source from a bearing supplier?
Cheers

If you noticed the bushings have a slight bevel on one end to aid in the installation of the bushing. It's odd how they are labeled, "Bushing, Brake Lever". I had a terrible rattle on my 02 Dyna with fwd. cont., replaced those bushings on the shift lever shaft. Everything tighten up.

i have a pair of the 42642-00A given by the dealer. All i can think they are maybe for a soft tail. The internal dia is the same as my existing ones and the shaft fits in a bit sloopily. The 42642-00A, when placed in the hole minus the existing bushes just slides straight through. The bush wall thicknesses are considerably different. The bike in question is 2012 roadking.
Thanks

As Dawg said, the dealer gave you the correct bushing for your touring bike, #42642-00A. Unless it was packaged incorrectly...

There is a different part, a bearing #33708-94, used on the softail models... but it is very different than the one you need.... a parts guy once tried to give me the bagger ones for my softail..

I ride both softails and a bagger, so I have a couple of each in my parts drawer.. the softail on the left & the touring bushing on the right

I have installed new #42642-00A bushings on my 2012 Limited, and then on my 2016 Ultra Classic. I have also installed the same new bearings in two friend's baggers... one a 2014 & one a 2016.. All those replacements were with the #42642-00A part..

I used a Jim's #5518 tool to do it each time, and it was a 5 minute job... The 5518 tool doesn't work on the softail bearing, so it wasn't nearly as easy of a job....

There's a Jim's tool for the bagger bushings. I own one and have used it before.... but it will NOT work on the softail bushings.

If I remember correctly, (it's been a few years) I used a bushing driver set. I used that to install the softail bushings on both my softails... I forget how I got the old bushings out, but don't remember it being a big, hard job... just not as easy as with the Jim's tool on the baggers.

The bushing set I used is no longer available, but was very much like this one:
