RE: Risers for Roadglide
WideGlide bars are great on RGs (and RK's).
The install is quite simple, even for those with only marginal mechanical skills. Should take only a couple hours (or less)for almost anyone. Just a few tools are required. All stock cables & wiring works. The only change rerequired is re-routing the clutch cable so that it runs outside the "snout"... so that it is between the left inner fairing and the left fork tube. THen you will need to add a cable clamp like the one that is used on a RoadKing - where it mounts to the side of the fork assembly.
It's very simple and istime well spent. Total cost is just under $50 for WG (pre-2006) bars and the clamp.
