I think I want 12 inch bars. I am still thinking about it but I am leaning toward 12. The 10 inch Twin Peaks I have are not as comfortable as I wish. I was riding on the freeway the other day and my back was killing me. I wanted to sit back but the bars have 6 inch pullback and are too far for me. I want to be able to sit straight up, with my arms out but not fully bend. I also don’t want the bars to be too wide. I am 5’10” and I wear 32/33 dress shirts which are perfect for me. Anyone with the same stature that could chime in?
I found these bars that come ready with wires. I am willing to spend extra to save frustration and time.
I contacted them because they don’t list the specs for their bars, but I think if I go with anything 8,9,10 pullback, that should be much better for me. I only need them to be little more closer.
Also, I am worried about the “sweep” and I am not sure how to gauge that. The one thing I like about the Twin Peaks is that they have a nice almost straight sweep. Everything I read says that the pullback is the distance from the edge of the bar to the front. Does that mean the sweep is increased too? Or are the bars bent in such way that they allow for tank clearance AND additional pull?
there have been a few threads on here and FB about how **** their customer service, People on FB have put screen shots up showing communication with their customer service, and they are talking down to the customer, and at some points making jokes and poking at the customer, **** them! I'd stay away personally man, but that's just me.
KST's are great! really happy with mine. I'm being honest here, running the wires really isn't that bad man, it's made out to be worse than it really is...
Damn, you had me talked into the 10" Twin Peaks! I still think I might go that route. I am nearly the same; 5'11" / 34 inseam
EDIT: I still want to be able to slouch/sit back and one hand the bars like I do with the stockers, so I will be watching your thread

I want 10 inch ones, but I can’t find ones that I like with the bigger pull back I do prefer 10 inch bars because I rather have my hands behind the fairing. I see 12 inch bars have more variety.
I really wish mine were just little closer damnit. Just couple inches. I was even toying with an idea of taking them somewhere to see if they could add a curve towards me.
lol I literally installed mine today.. I got the pre wired meathooks .. the bars themselves are solid quality.. remember even though they come pre wired youre still going to have to pull your throttle cable through these bars and IT SUCKS!!!!!!!! If I had to do over I would've gone w KST or another brand with caps to make it easier.. I like the bars on the bike, rode about 50 miles after , all good..
Another shout out for KST here, I put the 12” Mayhem Baggers on my Street Glide and they are just about perfect. I’m only about 5’9” on a good day and they eliminated my reach issues. I’m not sure what the specs are as far as pull back and sweep but they will answer any questions you have, I called them with a couple questions when I was installing my bars and they were very helpful and NOT douche bags. The only thing that took a little getting used to (for me) was my hands being so far apart, as I had never ridden with apes or mini apes before, but its a very comfortable ride otherwise and I’ve recommended them to several people on here in threads just like this one. Hope this helps !”

This has been the one mod I am hesitant on. With my CVO seat, I am down an inch, and back about an inch and a half. I like to set the cruise, sit back, and just keep one finger on the bars on long trips. I fear that I will get a couple thousand miles in and not be able to do this like I can with the stockers.
And yeah, on cold days the fairing is nice, but I get a bit of pain between the shoulders at the current height on those long days when we are trying to do 350-400 miles.

Thanks for your feedback Fatboy. I just looked them up and they have 5 inch pullback. That's even less than my current ones
I found these with 9 inch pullback, that come in 10 inch rise. These, by looking at specs, would be perfect. Plus, they are flat top
